A mural outside of the Trent Navigation Inn honours the legacy of two Nottingham managerial greats.

Brian Clough and Jimmy Sirrel two names that are historic figures when it comes to football in Nottingham have been honoured with an exceptional mural.

Located just outside of the Trent Navigation Inn the mural was set up by Forza Garibaldi and aims to reinvigorate the support for Nottingham Forest.

The mural is located just outside the pub on the London House building which the pub owns

The mural was unveiled on October 17th and represents the “unity of the people of Nottingham” as stated by one of Trent Navigations workers.

Forza Garibaldi were founded during the 2015/2016 season with ambitions of improving Nottingham Forests atmosphere.

From the matchday experience to pre-match events the campaign focuses on improving every aspect of a Forest fans experience.

Garibaldi approached the Navigation Inn and asked if they could put the mural on the outside of their London House building which is mainly used for storage.

The pub were as one of the staff members puts it “were very enthusiastic” especially when they saw the designs Garibaldi had made.

Although Garibaldi focuses solely on Nottingham Forest this project was a bit different. With the mural honouring both Nottingham Forest and Notts County managers.
