Little did one Nottingham Trent student know that a video of alcohol, food and filming drunk blokes in the street would be viewed over half-a-million times in 48 hours.
Ed Buckley, 19, filmed the footage of the chip tipper from The Glasshouse student accommodation on Union Road, at around 3am on Sunday morning.
The clip captures how an unsuspecting student lose his chips – and then his dignity.

The video, posted to Twitter, has been viewed over 550,000 times, with many citing that the man behind the camera was actually the star of the show.
“The laugh makes it 10 times funnier” a Twitter user stated.
“That laugh is unreal” added another.
In an exclusive interview, Buckley stated how “the clip only had 20 retweets when I woke up, then it suddenly blew up.”
He claimed that “every time I hear the laugh I don’t recognise it as mine, but it does definitely add to the video.”
The clip attracted attention from popular social media accounts, who re-posted the clip onto their pages. Ed’s original tweet has now gained over 27,000 likes and 7,000 retweets and the student joked that such accounts should pay for the content.
“I’m a student, so if they can lend me a tenner or two that would help.”
