A new facial treatment with a twist has caught the eye of the people of Nottingham.

Although the enticing smell of chocolate is tempting, you cannot taste the products because of other ingredients in the product.

For instance, the Cocoa Rosa Facial Products has an exotic pure blend of pure cocoa and essential rose oils. The “Turkish delight” facial range is packed with anti-oxidants and minerals which help to soften, nourish and moisturise the skin.

Dr Lisa Godfrey, who runs the clinic with her husband Dr Justin Dinley, welcome people with a heated mat and a comforting throw before the products are applied.

Next cleansing with rose and vanilla balm, containing cocoa butter, a cocoa rose face polish which is then used to exfoliate the skin.

The treatment is a 45 minute session at the Castle Clinic in Castle Boulevard.

The Rose and Vanilla cleansing balm has shea butter, cocoa butter mixed with rice bran oil, camellia oil and apricot kernel oil. Jojoba way is added to give a boost of vitamins and minerals.

Milk chocolate truffle face mask contains Rhassoul clay from Morocco is the star ingredient along with mineral rich cocoa powder. Honey powder works to draw moisture to the skin.

Chocolate for massage contains essential trace elements and nutrients such as iron, zinc, potassium and vitamins A, B1, C, D and E.
