Police in Derbyshire are appealing for a potential witness to an assault in Sawley to come forward.
The victim suffered a broken jaw, facial injuries and lost a tooth.
On Friday January 11, police reported that a 50-year-old man had been assaulted and later hospitalised with his injuries.
This man is believed to have had a small dog with him during the incident.
Detective Constable Andy Hardy, officer in the case, said: “Following our initial appeal for witnesses last week, we now believe that the man pictured may have been a witness to this assault.

The police would like to reaffirm this man is “purely a witness”, and that they would “like to speak to him about what he may have seen that evening.”
The incident took place between 7:20pm and 7:40pm in the Wilmot Street Area of Sawley.
