A light aircraft has crashed at Nottingham City Airport.
Police were called to the incident at the Tollerton hub at 10:15 this morning (January 30).
Two people were injured in the incident although it is believed their injuries are not life threatening.
East Midlands Ambulance Service and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene.
A spokesman for Nottingham City Airport said: “Two people who were on board walked away and there was no damage to anything.”
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch will be investigating the cause of the crash.
The aircraft, a 1974 built Grumman AA-5 is at rest on airport land just beyond the helicopter hangars at the airport.
