American investment firm Jam Sports Ventures continues to be linked with purchasing the club Notts County after owner Alan Hardy put them up for sale.
JAM Sports is led by the former New York Yankees owner and managing general partner, Joseph A Molloy, along with other business executives. The company, which looks for investors interested in professional sports teams, has refused to rule out a move for the Magpies, having been linked with buying the club in 2017.
Using its Twitter account @JamSportVenture, which they created earlier in the month, the firm said it would “not dare to blink if the right opportunity presents itself” and has since been interacting with fans.
Notts County Football Club are already in talks with two interested parties about purchasing the club that was “reluctantly” put on the market by Hardy on Sunday, having admitted he wanted to concentrate on his other businesses.
It is unclear what the asking price is for the club which is bottom of League Two, but Hardy admitted that he sank more than £10m into the Magpies since purchasing it from Ray Trew 2017.
