Commuters driving into Nottingham city centre faced disruption after a car crashed into barriers in Old Basford.
A female driver was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre by paramedics as a precaution. The crash took place at 8:25am on 28 January on the B682 Nottingham Road, at the junction with Perry Road.
Police arrived at the scene and closed both lanes. Drivers were advised to use alternative routes if possible.
Buses routes were also affected which caused delays.
A recovery vehicle removed the car an hour later.
NCT tweeted: “There are delays on Yellow 68, 69, 70, 71. Buses are now using the Ring Road, Hucknall Road and Haydn Road.
The RTC on Nottingham Road has cleared and Yellow 68, 69, 70, 71 are now back to normal route. Severe delays remain.
