A Nottingham bar is collecting clothing donations for homeless charity Emmanuel House this Christmas.
Nottingham tequila bar, 400 Rabbits, based in Hurts Yard, is asking for other bars and restaurants in Nottingham to follow suit and donate the clothes in their lost property to the homeless.
The owner of 400 Rabbits, James Aspell, said, “It’s something we’ve done ourselves for quite a while. We’ll take them down and donate them to Emmanuel House.”
400 Rabbits have worked in connection with Nottingham-based charity Emmanuel House for years and say they have received a good response from the public.
Emmanuel House was founded in 1976 and aims to support homeless, vulnerable or isolated adults in and around Nottingham.
James added, “We’re collecting gloves, coats, scarves that the most vulnerable people in Nottingham could really do with.”
