These days, though, it’s getting easier to confuse your Top Shops and River Islands with your Oxfams and Age Uks. Eye catching window displays and an eye for trendy pieces is making charity shops a fashion force to be reckoned with.

Charity retail has risen to £1.3 billion

According to findings from think-tank Demos, charity retail has risen to more than one billion pounds over the past few years.

We put together three very different looks, all for under a tenner, to show what can be done with a little money and a lot of creativity.
