The University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University have been ranked amongst the world’s best universities for a select number of courses.

Nottingham Trent University has been named among the top ten per cent of art and design education providers in the world.

The University of Nottingham, in a recent QS Top Universities survey, has 21 subjects taught at the school in the top 100 globally. The Pharmacology course was placed at sixth best in the world.

Other University of Nottingham (UoN) courses that were placed noticeable high included:

Education (22nd), Anatomy and Physiology (36th), Veterinary Science (29th), Nursing (42nd), Geography (46th) and English Language and Literature (49th).

The Russell Group university is widely regarded as one of the top universities in the country.

Nottingham Trent University’s Art and Design school was ranked within the top 150 schools in the world.

Art and Design student, Nadia 21, isn’t surprised about the positive praise.

TopUniversities.com puts Nottingham Trent’s Art and Design school between 101-150 based on both employer and academic reputation.

In contrast, UoN was ranked 51-60 in terms of graduate employability ranking and 75th in the QS World University Ranking.
