After nearly 400 anti-trump protesters marched through Nottingham earlier this week, it is now thought more demonstrations will follow.

Traffic was temporarily delayed as protesters took part in the ‘Nottingham says Trump not welcome march and rally’.

“Donald Trump is not welcome here”

Those taking part chanted “no hate, no fear, Donald Trump is not welcome here” as they carried placards through the city.

The march was one of many in the UK, with families, students and the elderly all coming together to protest Trump’s state visit to the UK.

After the President issued an order to ban people entering the US from Muslim majority nations, he was accused of adopting a deliberately anti-Muslim strategy.

This lead to outrage all over the world and anti-Trump protests began almost immediately. Since then they have only got bigger and received more and more support from celebrities and charities.
