Tonight Nottingham City Centre is shining a light on a wide variety of events for a “fantastic night of discovery” featuring a host of Nottingham’s Famous Landmarks.

Iconic city attractions such as the Nottingham Contemporary Gallery and the Nottingham Castle will be running a veritable host of events from film screenings to bands and choirs.

The City of Football will also be returning to the Old Market Square with events like light-up football and an LED obstacle course.

As well as the lights, various city restaurants will be offering discounts tonight if you have a Light Night Programme with you.

One of the many iconic attractions of Nottingham brightening the evening is the Galleries of Justice.

High Pavement has been closed to traffic since two-thirty in preparation for stalls to be set up for people to enjoy the illumination of the Galleries.

Nial Brown from the galleries has been very busy organising tonight’s events.
