Former Manchester City, Real Madrid and Brazilian star Robinho has reportedly told his agent to get in contact with a few Premier League clubs – one of those being Leicester about a possible switch. This would be Robinho’s first return to English football since leaving Manchester City in 2010.
Nottingham Forest FC are still linked with two loan signings from big European clubs. Unconfirmed rumours suggest that players from Spanish LIGA BBVA team Athletic Bilbao and French Ligue 1 outfit Le Havre could be signing for the Reds before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm GMT tonight.
Leicester City are battling it out with Manchester United and Southampton for the Deadline Day signing of pacey Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa from Russian side CSKA Moscow. The Red Devils have been favourites for the attackers signature but Claudio Ranieri’s side have hoped to upset the apple cart with a late bid.

Leicester’s defensive midfielder Gokhan Inler has been linked with a move away from the Midlands, with SKY SPORTS GERMANY reporting that Hamburg have offered the Swiss international a switch to the Bundesliga.
Notts County FC have taken former Derby County defender Miles Addison on trial. Addison’s latest spell was playing with Peterborough earlier this season.

Nottingham born England Cricketer Stuart Broad has issued a plea via social media for former England football captain John Terry and current Chelsea talisman to re-join Nottingham Forest FC. Terry has been surrounded by speculation that he would be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, and Broad tweeted he hoped he would play at the City Ground again, – where he enjoyed a brief loan spell in 2000.
Mansfield captain Nicky Hunt could well be on his way out of the One Call Stadium in order to play under former team-mate and current Leyton Orient manager Kevin Nolan. Nolan told the Guardian “(Nicky Hunt) He’s someone we’re really interested in and hopefully we will see some positive news in the next 48 hours. Maybe there will be a couple (of transfers) but Nicky’s one we’re certainly interested.”
Unconfirmed rumours have appeared on social media that Jason Banton is training with Notts County. The rapid wide midfield played was recently released by Wycome Wanderers earlier in the week.
NCFC have officially terminated the contract of Belgian centre defensive midfielder Gil Swerts by ‘mutual consent’. The 33 year old former Feyenoord and Belgian international has only played 12 games for Notts County this season.
Twenty two-year-old Welsh international and Leicester attacking midfielder Tom Lawrence has joined Cardiff City on loan. The Bluebirds beat off a few Championship rivals for the talented attacker’s signature.
