People across Nottingham have been paying their respects to veteran presenter Terry Wogan who died yesterday (31/01/16), aged 77, after a short battle with cancer.

Sir Terry visited the city in 2006 but was popular with BBC Radio listeners nationwide. Fans across the city have been sharing their memories of him.

He was well known for his long serving BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, “Wake Up to Wogan” as well as hosting Euro vision and Children in Need.
