One of Nottingham’s most popular cafes, the Ugly Bread Bakery has certainly been making an impression in the two years since it opened.
Earlier this year the bakery made it to the finals of the Nottingham Post food and drink awards, and continues to build a large following.
It offers a wide range of food from stone-baked pizza and focaccia flatbreads or you can have a freshly made salad.
If you have more of a sweet tooth, the bakery also offers mouth watering cakes, Italian cannoli pastries and its most popular dish, the Nutella and toasted marshmallow pizza.
This weekend they are celebrating its second birthday and are offering customers a 2 for 1 deal on all Deliveroo orders on November 22nd, and over the weekend there will be samples of food to try, goody bags and live music.
Jade Vendone, owner of the Ugly Bread Bakery, tells us more about running the store and her future plans.
“I’ve been looking for new sites.”
With a successful two years behind her, Jade is looking to expand The Ugly Bread Bakery and open a second store in the city centre. The business is on the rise much like the bread they bake.
